I have been having intermittent crashes while using my webcam with skype. The crashes are very sporadic and don't seem to happen for any specific reason. I got the first one that I have had in quite a while today, so I'm not sure what's going on. Going through the BugCheck report, it seems that it is an error with USB and that "A hardware failure has occurred due to a bad physical address found in a hardware data structure. This is not due to a driver bug."
I believe this is related to my Logitech QuickCam 9000 Pro. Also, I have a feeling that the USB controller on the motherboard might be damaged, when I received this computer the USB ports on the front were plugged backwards into the header.
The OS is rull retail Windows 7 Ultimate x64, the machine was built sometime around 2006 and the install is less than a month old. I have attached the dump files and performance monitor report.
Code:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000fe (0x0000000000000005, 0xfffffa8003afd1a0, 0x0000000010de026e, 0xfffffa800304b428). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 042112-21093-01.
