Solved Can I Install MS Office on SSD and save on HDD?

Hi.
I installed Win 7 on my ssd. Also installed some apps (firefox, chrome, norton, etc.). I have tons of room for more programs on the ssd, but want to know the relationship between the ssd and hdd in terms of file sharing:

Can I install MS Office (2007!) on the ssd and then save word or excel files on the hdd? Or should I install Office on the hdd? But that way I think there may be short coming in terms of interactions between Program Files, P.File (X86), Pr. data, App data, etc. Therefore, will my first question be possible?

Yes, thats no problem at all - the same for other applications. You have plenty of space on that SSD so no issues.

Can I ask why you use Office in the first place ? Is it a work thing ?

If not, there`s no reason to have a mail program on your pc. You can just go to your ISP`s site ( verizon.net etc) to read your mail.

There`s also yahoo.com gmail.com comcast.net etc.

That way you can read your mail from any pc anywhere in the world.

If you just like using Office then disregard my post.

I don't want to use office for email! I want to use it only for word, excel, and onenote.
