Whats the deal with neg rep'ing? How bad should it be before you slap someone?

I have negged a few people, all of which have been removed by the admins, I believe. I thought they were deserving of it, but they thought I was being harsh. Which was pretty likely. I only neg rep those that piss me off. But not from point of view, only if they deserve the neg rep (IMO).

Excellent idea John, it's just a shame we can't still rep Airbot for posting the original information as it is VERY helpful & informative.

Would be nice to clean this thread up as it's become more of a chat room than an informative thread

Maybe the helpful info that started this thread can be reformatted and moved to another section of the forums and made a sticky, that way this thread can continue to exist as there's nothing wrong with it going on as it is imo.

J/k, I fully agree. The chillout room should be for that, not for hanging out indefinitely (mea culpa, mea maxima culpa)

Couldn't there be a forum for site specific (not necessarily Windows 7 specific) topics? I myself would like to know if somebody has info on how to set up a Blackberry to view the site correctly, but I don't know where to post it.
