I recently applied windows 7 updates, didn't see what was updated since it frequently updates something. After that the memory usage increased from normal 30+ percentage to 50+ percentage. I checked with task manager it was svhost.exe and the service it was running is the "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder". It is used for audio and plug-in devices as from microsoft website , so cant disable it. Any other ideas to stop this problem? Since i have only 2 gig of ram it is essential to solve this problem. Thanks in advance..

I know this is an old thread but I'm wondering if someone has an answer to this problem? I have the exact same problem. Is this a bug that Microsoft has addressed?
