Well it passed heaven fine but BF3 didn't like it at all. I switched it back to stock settings. I'm checking something else now but will start another thread.
Yup Bf3 always shows if a cpu is unstable for me. I can pass IBT and other tests then fail after 10 mins of BF.
I hope you find its sweet spot or are you leaving it stock now?
Exactly my cpu is stable at 3.6 but I lowered it to 3.4 while trying to OC the gpu. It benched better but game wise wasn't much different so I'm going to leave the gpu at stock. BF3 is a good test for me, it played but I got that annoying pop up about changing the scheme, of course at the worse time LOL, but going back to stock no pop up
