Hello! i know i have putted out very simillar things like this one but i havet got a CLEAR answer.

So now. what i ask for is, will a computer with Wndows vista 32 (will soon upgrade to windows 7 64) with 4Gb DDR 2 memory with 400-800mhz (dont really know) and Amd phenom 8750 (i think) 3 core 2.4 Ghz
and 300W psu (19 Ampere 12V Rail) with Nvidia Geforce gt 430 (Asus vs. ENGT430)

Get A LOT better with a Radeon 7750 instead of the ENGT430. is it worth upgrading and will i get a big boost? mostly play very heavely modded minecraft! but also a lot of other intense games.

Will this gpu also increase the sound from the computer?

Also if you have other suggestions about a better gpu for my 300W psu than the radeon 7750 p,ease let me know

Keep your answers clear and about this!

You probably won't see too much difference in fps with that video card if you're struggling with fps on minecraft play without mods or if you want all the mods on you will have to upgrade your cpu ram and motherboard to avoid bottlenecking also what do you mean by "will the gpu increase the sound of my computer" ?

Just ask me if i missed something
I don't play Minecraft.

The 7750 is a much more powerful GPU than a GT430. Whether the upgrade is worth the cost, I don't know. It's not always cost effective to do incremental upgrades on an old system. (On the other hand, years ago, I extended the life of a 133 MHz Pentium I PC by adding a Voodoo I card from 3dfx. I wonder how many here have heard of that long-dead company.)

If your PSU is adequate for the GT430, you'll be OK with a 7750. Its maximum electrical power usage is less than the 430.

I'm not sure what you're asking as regards sound. If you are referring to the onboard sound, that should be independent of the GPU.

Note! My freind had a lot of lag with mods too, accually my computer where almost better than his back there. he had a Amd quad core 2,4 ghz i think, windows 7 64bit, better ram etc, his windows score was much better than mine but my computer still played games better, Ever since that day when he got a Gtx 650tii 2Gb From gigabyte, and changed from a card a dont know the namw of, but ive eard a lot of people having problem with it, like overheating (his computer shutted down all the time when he played games) I have also seen people putting them in the oven to make it work,

But now when he plays games he kicks my computer hard. just by upgrading the gpu.
I may upgrade the ram too when i upgrade the operating system,
Is there any good cpu upgrade from the one im having now? Think its Am2 or something like that

Hi Sisrace. Answer about the PSU...you have a 300W and if you are planning to go for 7750, go for at least 400 W PSU for the best performance.

To be honest, I'm not sure a newer graphics card will get you where you want to be. Games have varying levels of CPU AND GPU dependency so you may upgrade your GPU and realize your CPU is now what is holding you back. There comes a time when you have to skip a modern upgrade to an old computer and invest in a new one........I know from experience. I would save up and start fresh rather than spend a couple hundred bucks on your old PC. You are at least looking at a new graphics card and a new power supply.

Keep your answers clear and about this!

CLEAR ANSWER: You will see an improvement but don't expect miracles.

WHY: Your CPU is not strong. It's not worth upgrading either to be honest. The 7750 is not a strong card either. As you know you are limited by your Power Supply with a choice in cards. Both of them together equals slow.

You are lucky that your monitors resolution is relatively low @ 1600x900. But From what you have said, I think you might be expecting too much from a new GPU.

As it looks like, i will get a increase but its not worth the 1000kr for the new gpu, if im upgrading it i will upgrade the psu, and when i have upgrader then i'll need to buy a new cpu becouse it's too slow, and f i upgrade the operating system i will upgrade the ram. This will cost a lot, like hm, 700kr new cpu, 300kr for a 400W psu, (i may get a free legal windows 7 free) ram 4 gb ddr2 300kr, new gpu 1000kr = about 2300kr

OR i save theese money, only have about 1000kr now, and sell som stuff i have planned to sell for a long time now, and there i maybe have like 5000kr and for that, i will get some goodies,
If i get 5000kr i will probable buy this:

I don’t recommend upgrading your graphics card unless the replacement card is at least three tiers higher. Otherwise, the upgrade is somewhat parallel and you may not notice a worthwhile difference in performance.
