Metro: Last Night - Who's in?

There is a benchmark tool in the game folder. You guys should post some screens

In the Steam folder ? I must be missing it.

Steam > steamapps > common > Metro Last Light. In that folder, there are two .exes. One of them is the benchmark

What do you mean by tough ? The game is hard to play for you ? Or the way you have it setup ?

Tough on the hardware Gameplay is fine.

I'm running Surround 5760x1200 with most things maxed. SSAA off though.

To maintain a smooth rate I've capped it @ 30 FPS with the 1/2 rate VYSNC. It was fluctuating too much otherwise. 20-60FPS and it felt jerky.

It`s ridiculous how you have to keep switching to the compass, it should be on the screen.

With all the cut scenes this game is gonna take a week to finish.

With all bells and whistles and 1920x1200, it runs around 30 FPS. Looks good though.

However it does scale well in the looks department. It simply looks 'fuzzier'.

The more I play, the more I'm annoyed with being slowed up by NPC to pace the story. I'd prefer to just run through it.

All I can say is, This game Sucks !!

I`m in a scene where this big mutant just keeps smashing into you, there`s no more ammo left, there`s no way out, and he won`t die.

So what the heck are you suppose to do ? LOL

Run around the the room and taunt him when you are behind the caves support posts and dodge the attack at the last minute. Do this until all the supports and everything is destroyed in the room, then unload on him. When the supports are gone and he has taken enough damage, the room should collapse.

Also how are you out of ammunition? What difficulty are you playing on? I played Normal and had more ammunition than I knew what to do with. Or are you just one of those "spray and pray" types?

It looks like a really nice game not going to lie but there is that thing about the aliens in it or something i don't know if that would make the game or break it as i kind only like the idea of the nuclear war situation and the after math and the fact that the alien that is shown looks like predator

They are not aliens, they are mutants. Half the game is fighting annoying mutated creatures. The ones that you mentioned that look like Predators are just very highly evolved and intelligent creatures.

Did you play the first one? If not you kind of need to play it before you play the second one. It explains everything.

Is Last Light like Metro 2033? I have played a little of 2033.
