Cannot find configure router wizard anymore

Hi,

today I got Internet and the technician plugged in a Motorola SURFboard cable modem (not a wireless router). After he left I could see the device - I don't rember where - in "Devices and Printers"?, in "Network and Sharing Center"?

I clicked on the device icon and a wizard started which in the first or second screen wanted me to enter a "four or eight digit PIN" that should be printed on the label of the modem. The wizard showed a pretty picture of the modem and where I should look for the PIN - but I couldn't find it on the label. So I quit the Wizard, to return to it when I found the PIN.

Now I found the PIN but I cannot find the cable modem icon and the wizard anywhere. HELP, please!

in the address bar

Yea, I can access the web interface via browser. But the device icon is not in Devices and Printers (not sure if it was there where I found it at the beginning)

All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality.
