Is your system just locking up or do you get a BSOD??

Do you have a good power supply for your system. The PSU could be causing problems.

Edit: "voeding: Cooler Master RealPower M620" I didn't see this, looks good.

My system freezes. So no mouse or keyboard input is available.
The only thing i can do is restart by pushing the shutdown.

im getting the same thing its so random as well but seems to do it more often i think when im accessing something not on the c: drive might just be my imagination tbh :P

q6700 2.6ghz
4g ddr 2
abit 9pro
8800gt
580w hyper power something or other

after some extensive test found out it freeze due to wireless card. A netgear wg311v3 whose chipset is a marvell one i belive. This isn't a driver issue as it did this before drivers were installed. If its plugged in to the pci slot win7 will freeze randomly.

I thought it was the intel chipset drivers at one point but plugged in new card and works fine no more freeze's. btw card works otherwise as im dual booting with XPsp2

Hope this helps you

Nice you got it solved.
But i don't have a wireless card, so i think in my case its another problem.
My system is still under guaranty so i am letting the shop search for the problem/ solution.
Will inform here if i know what the problem was.

I have ati 4870 and p5q pro motherboard of asus... I had freezes too but now i dont !
Ati has a driver on 4870 which is ATI High Definition Audio Device I disable that drive and everything works like charm.

So it wasnt Ram problem or something like that...
