Mice are highly dependent on the individual tastes nowadays. Reliability wise, Razor, Logitech both make solid pieces. Since price is a concern the Logitech MX-518 or G5 are gaming mice with a load of options that won't break the bank.

one of my favorite things about the G9 is that it has a button on the bottum that releases the wheel clicking. so you can spin that baby like a freaking bicycle tire!

i just read some of the specs for the verbatim rapier 3200....it looks real good. The only thing I couldn't find was how many reports it makes. otherwise the dpi looks good and it is weighted.

I just game Offline, Campaigns is all I do so, my opinion is solely based on that.

I have the G7 & G9 mouse and even after almost 1 year, somehow, I still prefer the G7 more than the G9... I can't put a finger on it and the G9 has more features than the G7 but I still feel that the ergos on the G7 are much better than on the G9.

Now, the only downfall of the G7 are the batteries, it is a wireless battery and it comes with 2 (at least mine did) but it seems that they don't hold a lot of charge... other than that, I had no problem with settings and the software is top notch.

On the other hand, I had never heard of the mouse you're mentioning so... take my opinion with a grain of salt ;)

I use a Logitech G9 at home and have been extremely happy with it. I managed to pick it up from BestBuy.com about 5 months ago for $37.99. Was tremendous happy with my purchase for that price.

I have limited space on my desk plus mouse wires and I don't get along.
Don't like wireless mice because of changing batteries all the time, also seems to happen at the worst time.
I don't care for mouse pads either.
Also game alot.

Logitech Marble mouse are the best thing I've ever used, also very easy to clean.
Just pop the ball out and use an old toothbrush to clean the nubs in there.

Very precise with fast movements ie -putting the crosshair on the guy that just popped his head out the window getting ready to nade you.

Great for photoshop too.

Once you get used to one of these you won't want a mouse anymore.
I have 3 that I've had for 6 - 7 years now for my machines and they have never failed me.

Cost - around $20

I've had trackballs for years. I have the Trackman Explorer from Microsoft. While I prefer a trackball for daily activities...I cannot game with mine at all. I'm far more accurate with a normal mouse.

Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Mouse

Amazon.com: Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse (Black): Electronics. Paid $99 for it new in 2007 so Amazon's a little drunk on their price.

I'm also using this. Bought it for approx. $150 CND when it first came out, IMO, the best mouse hands down! No problems whats so ever, holds an amazing battery charge + comfy:geek:

Yeah I've seen reviews where there have been complaints about battery life, but I've never had an issue, and it's not like I haven't pushed it in long gaming sessions. However I do make sure to place it in the charger when not in use.

I've been using Logitech Mouses since 1998 so you can say I like them. :)
