Yes, I downloaded itunes 64 bit but ended up installing the 32 bit version because the 64 bit gave me an error over and over again.

I think I solved my problem. It seems Office click to run was causing a problem for me. It installed with the beta for Office 2010 beta, it think. I tried installing something else and it told me I had to remove it, after that the problem seems to have gone away.
