Is GMA X4500 M HD any good?

well i got a laptop for some time now it's Toshiba satellite l350 20g
it has GMA X4500 M HD grsphics card and it says somewhere that it can have up to 890 mb of it (it's shared memory that y i said up to). also if i would upgrade my ram would the graphics improve?

is it any good and if not is there any good substitute for this lappy.

    thnx in advance

It's good for solitaire and some older games, but it definitely won't play any of the new games,

Notebookcheck: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD (GMA X4500MHD)

And no adding more ram won't improve how it performs.

Some may find this hard to believe but I have the same graphics chip!

It runs a Lot of high end 3D games smoothly!

But once every often the display will go black and come back to life and show a message "graphics driver has stopped working and successfully recovered" or something like that :)

From my experience I can say that this is much better that nvidia 8400GS

but the 8400 GS isn't a top of the range card in the first place, the GS stands for "graphically suckage"!
