    the new 460

I was wondering how you guys feel about the new Nvidia 460 and if they are worth SLIing I have an old AM 2 mobo running 2X 8800gt a few weeks ago I put a 3.0 quod core in it. I have a 850w psu but it only has two 8pin than can be made into two 6 pin and two 6pin connectors on it I only plan on buying 1 video card atm but for the price I might pick up another one in about eight weeks, or do you think hold off and get one of the bigger cards

The next model up from the GTX460 is due to be released soon as well, so you could hold up for that, but you would be spending that bit extra, too. Though I can't see it being *that* much better than a GTX460, so it's up to you really. The 460 are still good cards, but you might want to watch your CPU as that could hold them back a bit.

Well from the benchmarks on Tomshardware I decided to sli 2 460's in my next build. Why price and the fact they show good preformance for my needs. Tomshardware review Nvidia GeForce GTX 460: The Fermi We Were Waiting For : GeForce GTX 460 At 1 GB And 768 MB. Fabe
