Win 7 doesnt recognize drivers for graphic card.

Hi ! I am having some troubles with drivers.

I have a Geforce 6200 graphic card but Windows 7 doesnt recognize the drivers for it, even the one installed by WDDM (the generic one). How can be this posible?!

I have tried installing the latest drivers available for my graphic card but same result. In the other partition I have Windows XP and drivers are working perfectly.

PD: I did my Win 7 DVD bootable with this tutorial UNAWAVE - Code 5 Error whilst booting Windows 7 DVD because i was getting the code 5 error.

Thanks for your time, I have been trying to solve this problem few days and Im still stuck.

Thanks merkat106, with your help I have managed to install the drivers. Here is a review.

First of all, you WONT be able to install newest drivers if they doesnt support FX 5 series, I just think they use different modules to support that old card (Obviously if are having problems with your graphic card, like the "43" error). It happens with old computers because of the incompatibilty Win7 with your motherboard, memory, etc.
Now, I will explain how I managed to install it (Obviously with help of a lot of people from forums).

    1) Uninstall your old drivers or the generic one. Dont reboot the PC instead go to Start–>Search type in gpedit.msc
    2) Click the file to open the Local Group Policy Editor
    3) Now go to Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->System->Device Installation. Click on the subfolder Device Installation on the left and on the right side you will see the possible restrictions
    4) Right Click on Prevent Installation of Devices not described by other policy settings and edit this option, set it on ENABLED.
Aclaration: This will inhabilitate the system to install the standard driver.
    5) Reboot Windows and start in Safe Mode. Use Drive Sweeper to clean old files from the graphic card driver.
    6) Reboot Windows. Set DISABLED the 4). Now you will have to install the new driver, as I said you will have to look for drivers that support FX 5 serie. I will do it, this is are the latest driver that support FX 5 serie. (This is are supported for Win 7 32bits.)
    NVIDIA DRIVERS 175.19 WHQL
http://download.opendrivers.com/uplo...2032%20bit.exe (This is a tweaked one by tweakforce, I am using this one)
7)Click on the File>Compatibility tab>In the dropdown menu select Windows XP SP2.
    8) Install it and reboot. If you are installing the tweaked one, look for the directory where you have extracted it, do the same process 7) with the file setup.exe

    Enjoy.

Im having another problem now ;_; as I expected the control panel for Nvidia drivers arent working. There is a solution for this?

Blergh, I have found that panel wont work because of compatibility. The only way to run the control panel is by doing the step 7) to the file nvcplui.exe
So 175.19 or 175.16 will work fine for Windows 7 and are the latest drivers that support serie 5. However the problem remain in the control panel, you can make it work as I said.

Thanks a lot for your help!
