ATI mobility raedon x600 aero effects help

I have an HP Pavilion zd8000 running windows 7 (previously vista, I dont know if that was the original operating system though, as i got it from a friend), which has a ATI Mobility Raedon x600 graphics card. The problem is, i cant find drivers to support Aero effects with my computer, and dont think there is an official release for it. Does anyone know a way i can still use Aero effects with my laptop?

If you run the WEI score, that will enable Aero if it is available.

ATI doesn't offer drivers, and the only drivers that HP offers are for XP, meaning that it's most probably an XPDM driver, not WDDM, which also means you're NOT going to be able to get Aero.

If you're feeling adventurous you could use this,

Mobility Modder - ATI Version, Install the Latest Drivers on your ATI laptop

and mod the driver to work with that x600. As far as which driver set to use, considering the age of the card I wouldn't go for anything newer than the catalyst 9.12 which you can it and more here,

    Previous Catalystâ„¢ Drivers
