I checked my programs and i couldn't find it.

I untick all the options to the toolbars and things like google chrome.

Update -> Just checked and problem 1 has actually gone. The two lines in which i can't click on have disappeared. Not sure what the change was but problem 2 still persists.

In the report you posted, it was listed, so it is odd that you wouldn't be able to find it anywhere. Maybe we should wait to see what Jacee says, as she knows a lot more than I do about, well, pretty much everything.

if you installed magic desktop you must know the password for it , to disable it , its most likely that thats blocking you from acessing system sensitive files throguh my computer etc.

are you sure your trying to "hack" your dads pc

Im confused as to what everyone is getting at ?

I bought the laptop and magic desktop was pre-installed. This is kinda of a long plan by showing 2 problems to overcome a password or w.e.

I found the ask toolbar in the programs. It went under the name of gretech.

    I just uninstalled it now.

I also uninstalled easybits magic desktop.

Sorry for all the confusion Aran. Just wanted to make sure you weren't some 12 year old trying to do something inappropriate that required disabling parental controls. Follow Jacee's advice. She knows what she is doing.
