Rescan with HJT, check these items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Adobe Reader Speed Launcher] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\Reader_sl.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Easybits Recovery] C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyBits For Kids\ezRecover.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Java\Java Update\jusched.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Software Update] C:\Program Files (x86)\Hp\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd2.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DivXUpdate] "C:\Program Files (x86)\DivX\DivX Update\DivXUpdate.exe" /CHECKNOW

***NOTE these are all running in your startup and can be run manually when needed. We aren't deleting, just stopping them in startup.

Now, close all windows except HJT and click "fix checked". Exit out of HJT and reboot your computer.

If you have uninstalled Easy Bits/Magic Desk, the navigate to
C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyBits For Kids <--- and delete this folder

Sorry for the late reply been away.

I also did the Hijack list you told me to do.

Problem 2 still occurs.

With problem 1, it is on and off constantly. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it goes away.

Thinking back on your problems, are you sure its not the mouse acting up at random times?
