Amd athlon x4 635 getting awful 3dmark06 cpu score

    Amd athlon x4 635 getting awful 3dmark06 cpu score


    I've ran the test several times overall im getting around 11,000 but the cpu score is around 3800.......there is no reason for a quad core to be this low, is there?

    The card is a 9800gt and all chipset and graphic drivers are up to date.

    Have you compared your score to other CPU scores to make sure this is a NORMAL score?

    I would update the BIOS to make sure it is reading the chip correctly.

Please not, these scores where with fresh installed Windows 7 and updated with everything available excluding language packs. Windows XP x64 13,000+ Windows 7 x32 11,700 Windows 7 x64 11,481 3Dmark06 ran with no problems on x32 but i had quite a few hickups running it on the x64....
