cant find anything that talks about the risk of UPPING the fan speed, not lowering....

Hello Freaky,

The only risk of increasing the fan speed is louder fan noise with lower temps. It just depends on how much fan noise you are willing to accept to have lower temps.

Why would their be a risk? Aside from maybe wearing out the fan sooner (and by sooner I mean it would still last longer than the card)

kk i dont care about the noise because i have a different bigger fan that i use to cool the room
