Samsung Syncmaster 933SN and native resolution

My monitor: Samsung Syncmaster 933SN won't display at it's native resolution which is 1360 x 768. It will only display at 1024 x 768 which only takes up 2/3rd's of the screen real estate!

I have the most updated driver for the monitor, 3.0.0.0 from Samsung, which says it works on XP, and VISTA 32/64, but for some reason Windows 7 isn't recognizing the native resolution. It was recognized easily on Windows Xp when I bought it a few months ago, so what can I do?

I have no idea if this computer even has a graphic card, lol.
    It's a HP Pavilion a1120n, with a Intel 915GV chipset.

I looked in the device manager but I don't see any mention of a graphic's card anywhere.

Ok I found out that it uses the Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 900.

When checking to see if I have the latest graphic driver on the intel site, it says:

Product Detected: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
    Current Driver Installed: 6.1.7100.0

When trying to download the latest Windows Media Graphic Accelerator (14.25.50.4764 / 1/17/2007 ) for Windows Xp (as they don't have a VISTA edition listed) it tells me the OS is not supported and it can't install.

    Ugh..what can I do?

Found a solution. In another thread 12eason mentioned: "All I can offer is this driver, which was the last driver made for the 915 chipset. It works with W7 but the installer needs to be run in compatibility mode." After installing this in compatibility mode (windows vista service pack 2) it recognized my Samsung monitor in it's native resolution. This will only work if you have a HP Pavilion pc I think.
