Radeon hd3650 to blame for BSODs/sketchy performance?
Just installed Radon HD 3650 - then did a clean install of windows 7 from XP. Unplugged all devices except logitech chordless keyboard/mouse (which windows recognizes as "usb-reciever").
After installing the OS, the system randomly restarted (no warnings, just an instant black screen, followed by reboot) 5, 10 sometimes 15 minutes after login. Since the issues appear Radeon related (I received a 4.7 for Gaming Graphics and a 4.8 for Graphics??), I turned off Aero, and have since had no restarts. But the performance still lags i think...
I do get a BSOD error message after crash and restart, but the one I just copied not notepad somehow dissappeared from desktop and now I'm not sure when it will crash next.
I have a feeling that there's a conflict with the integrated graphics - but Ive looked through the BIOS and can't figure out how to disable it =/
Anyways, hopefully the solution is right under my nose :)
