Previously when i was with XP.
i was able to share my RAM with my graphics, i had 128Mb on board graphics and was able to share my RAM with it to make it 512Mb, this was done through my BIOS.
Since i installed Windows 7. It is like it has compltely changed my BIOS user interfacce, and i havnt a clue on how to do it now.
Any ideas?

You're referring to your AGP Aperture. It can generally be changed in your BIOS but Win7 would NOT have changed that. There are software tools that will allow you to change your aperture but they're not advised. It's preferable to do it in the BIOS.
lol thats impossible , the Installer or the OS itself cannot update/flash the bios causing it to change the cmos setup screen o.O. unless you installed a software that came with your mobo that updates bios automatically (which I doubt)... I'm interested to know how that happened :P, post back if you have any info.
and its not the AGP Aperture size :P...

although it still doesnt answer why the User interface in the bios has changed, cause i specificly remember what it looked like when i had XP. i didnt go into it after i installed Win 7 and it has changed...hmmm
Ummm....
Y'all are forgetting that some mobo manufacturers had / have utilities that you installed in older OSs, particularly XP that allowed monitoring of system devices - for an older MSI board I had the utility could not only monitor my BIOS and such but actually update the BIOS from inside of Windows - so it is very possible that the OP is correct about the BIOS having been updated, and is just mistaken as to the methodology on how it got updated.
Daniel, 7 cannot update the BIOS. However, manufacturers have previously included utilities that may have updated your BIOS when you were still running XP....
Now just a thought, and also kind of question of my own, but if he did a fresh install and did a format wouldnt the bios flash be lost?
