i have tried uninstalling audio and gfx drivers i formatted and used driver cleaner pro. i have 9600 gso 512 256 bit gfx 4 gb kit vista upgrade hp Compaq dc5750 microtower. i don't know what else to do i had this problem before and i thought i fixed it but no dice. i already updated to the latest gfx and audio. my sound card is x-fi titanium pro fatality. before i had sound blaster audigy platinum and didn't had problem before. ever since this card it started to give me this problem. i emailed nvidia and they said to disabled onboard audio, the bios does it by it self. i used a hdmi to dvi cable and i disabled that audio feature in the nvidia bios. since the new driver update that option is not their. then i emailed creative and they said to uninstall drivers and reinstall. told them didn't work and they said to disabled any other source of audio on computer which i told them i don't have any other source.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled video drivers using Driver Sweeper to make sure the driver is fully removed from your system? I sometimes get this error if I install a new driver without uninstalling the previous driver properly, but if I use Driver Sweeper and then install the new driver it seems to fix it.
