ATI Radeon HD3200 and USB 2.0 VGA Adapter
I have a Pavilion All in One. ATI Radeon™ HD 3200 integrated, Windows 7 Home Basic x64.
I want to connect it my regular TV to my computer (TV only has s-video input and AV input) (I used to connect this TV to my Dell Dimension without problem with nvidia card)
Now, since the video card in my AIO is integrated, I got a USB 2.0 VGA Adapter (vista drivers only)
I installed the drivers normal and also tried as vista mode. The PC recognized the adapter, the adapter's light is on, in devices the adapter appears working ok using its latest drivers. But when I ask display settings to detect secondary screen can't find it. The icon for the adapter appears in the taskbar but any of the options is available. I used the ATI Catalyst settings menu, it recognizes the adapter as VGA ADAPTER but it's using the ATI controllers instead of the original adapter's controllers.
I know that not every device is compatible with Windows 7, actually this adapter was not Vista compatible and now the drivers are online, so maybe some how I can get my ATI to recognize the adapter and let it use its installed drivers, any help?
