You haven't supplied enough details to identify your onboard graphics, but I suppose that there are no drivers newert than XP for it.

However, you may be able to use those under Windows 7. They won't support Aero Glass effects, but you can live without those.

I had a computer with this video chipset. It worked under Windows Vista and 7 32-bit using the XP Drivers available for it. I can't vouch for 64-bit editions of Vista and 7 as I never tried them with this card.

So I have an Abit ip-95 MB with this same card integrated. When I installed Win 7 Ultimate 32bit, it worked fine. I never noticed it put in a standard VGA driver though. About a week ago I installed something that required direct x and it [dxdiag.exe] said my graphics card didn't support it so I looked into it. I saw the standard VGA driver and decided to get the driver from abit. I installed an outdated driver from abit which works fine until I try play a video. It then hoses up everything and makes the system run choppy after that. Dxdiag.exe says its running and the card is recognized correctly though. So I rolled back to the standard vga. I'm thinking to go by any decent video card at this point, unless someone has any ideas. The adapter version on abit's site says VIA P4M890 and the driver says its good up to Vista. Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

ittek, welcome to the Seven Forums.

There is a slightly newer version of the driver for it here,

VIA Drivers Download - VIA Technologies, Inc.

    From the dropdowns select,

    Microsoft Windows
    Windows XP
    Integrated Graphics
    P4M890 UniChrome Pro

XP drivers are it as there are no Vista or Windows 7 drivers for that integrated video, as Via dropped support for it and never made them.
