    need urgently intel 965 driver for dell inspiron 1525 for windows 7


    i have dell inspiron 1525 laptop before i have upgrade from vista to windows 7 and after that my intel 965 chipset driver stop working and when i have installed old driver its telling operating system not supporting and stopped . due to this hd videos also shows pixels and gaming is pathetic .

    Have you tried installing the Vista Drivers from the Dell (Compaq) website, It might help.

    Always go to the source, in this case, Intel's website.

    i want to install R180254 driver its for intel graphic media accelerator still its now working in my windows 7 .

    after installing an ERROR MSG coming " File copy not successful setup will exit ".

    plz help

    Is that during the install, or does it come up after you reboot?

    I can only guess, but here are some possible causes:

    1. The download file is corrupt. Unlikely, but you could try manually extracting the files.
    2. You don't have permissions. Right-click, and run the setup file as an Admin.
    3. You have some junk in your temp files preventing it from extracting, so clean out your temp dirs.
    4. You have a registry error from a previous, or failed install. Run something like CCleaner, and look for entries related to Intel Graphics.

    You also should be able to install these drivers from Windows Update.
