    Anyone seeing this video glitch?

I first noticed this using Firefox (3.5b5pre but also in 3.0.10).

When menus open up, the background is momentarily black then returns to normal. This can be very quick so you might miss it. Seems longer lists are better to observe this. Also dropdown menus at webites often exhibit this too.

Doesn't always happen but enough times to indicate some sort of problem.

Seems that most everything else works fine especially any of the MS stuff. There are a few other programs I use that also do this.

Give it a try especially if you have FF.

Did that. I opened up a bug on the problem if you are interested in reading it.

I have noticed it but not in FF. I have seen it a couple of times when a momentary pop (slide up and down type) notice will have a partial black background over the normal colored background. As quick as it is there it is gone.

I think I know what you are reporting. I was showing W7 7127 to some folks and as I was demonstrating the aero peek, one of the active apps (might have been FF) window had the border but the contents were black, then just as quickly the contents returned. The desktop background remained as it should. It appeared to happen on the app that was not minimized. I thought it was somewhat strange.

PS. I was running FF 3.0.10 at the time.

I've noticed it in a couple of other programs. RJ TextEd is a good example.

All of the MS programs, including IE8, work fine as do almost all of my other programs.

It's an Aero thing (desktop composition). When I turn it off FF and the other programs work fine.

It hasn't gotten to the point that I would run without Aero.
