    Any help please with Radion 5770 not running 86 games.


    Built a new computer with i5-760 and 4 Ram and Gigabyte board on 64 system, ran great,no problems running partners Dinner Dash(really pushing the Graphics).
    Then next day got Boot mgr missing ,so re-installed O/S,found it was the Bios not correctly set causing the problem.But then found that Video was immediately crashing on start of 86 games but ok on running Wolfstein(only one Directx 9 tried).
    Tried Basic settings in Catalyst Centre,rolled back one driver from 10.8 to 10.7,and lowered the resolution,still no joy.But they work great in Safe Mode,no sound though.
    Any assistance gratefully appreciated(partner not getting nightly fix so not very happy)

    By 86-games you mean 32-bit ones? I think you are reffering to older games, so you should try to right click the icon -> properties -> compatibility mode -> Windows XP Sp3

ATI Radion 4850 issue

i have just replaced my Nvidia 8600gt with the ATI Radion 4850 mentioned,,, my psu is 500w in my HP elite an Asus mobo,, Q6600 chip and 3gb of ddr2 @ 800Mhz on windows vista ultimate ,,, i uninstalled all the nvidia stuff using revo uninstaller driver sweeper and esuing cleaner to get all the left...
just bought hd 5770 installed it had a few problems and now it says by graphic card that i have a standard vga graphic card and i tried installing any games but none of them will work, the reolution goes to max. only 1400 x 1050 although i have a 1920x1080 monitor CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT...
Hi installed windows 7 the other day everything went fine . pc monitor conected using vga to vga i then conected my dvi to hdmi cable from my pc to my lcd tv in dual screen mode and eveything worked good . my desktop monitor was 1680x1050 and my tv was 1280x720 all good . now only 4 days...
