not enough free resources?? (2nd video card)

I have 2 8600 GT 512 video cards, 4GB installed RAM, etc... in device manager one of the cards is enabled, one says

"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system."

It worked fine in XP. I have 2 additional displays I'd like to control with the second video card. I do not have them connected in Sli. I uploaded a pic of the error message. Help please!

There is a small chance that a bios upgrade, if available for your mainboard, could fix this.

Hi jorpe, You need to fill out your System Specs, top left of page, in User CP.

Does disabling your sound card save resources?
I'm using a television as a monitor connected to the computer through a HDMI cable. Is there any benefit to disabling my sound card, since I get sound and video through the HDMI setup? If so, does it save on cpu, ram resources? And should I disable it in the BIOS as well?
