Hi everyone.
I've got a problem with graphics card.
I'm getting loads of red lines all over my screen. I've never seen it before. I just purchased this pc. It's like brand new.
Also, windows says my card stopped after some errors occured (code 43).
Specs
Intel core 2 quad 8400 2.66ghz
4gb RAM
Points of View Geforce GTX 260 overclocked 896 MB
Windows 7 home premium 64bit

Welcome to Seven Forums.
Doing a search on Video card error code 43 produced a myriad of possibilities, from Virus, malware , Trojans to bad video card.
So some of the first things I would check is (and you've not listed it in system specs) that you have a power supply qualified to run this card.
Secondly I would make sure that the card is seated fully and both PCI-e power connections are plugged into the card and check the cable to and from the card.
Make sure you have the latest driver for your card. Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers
Scan your system for any malware. I like Malwarebytes Malwarebytes
I don't know what virus protection program your using but MSE is a good program http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
If none of this produces any results, I would try the card in a different system. Maybe if you have a friends you could use or one of your own to see if the issue replicates itself. This would point to probably a bad Video card or one on it's way out, and you've stated that the system is new so it should still be under warranty so I would contact the place where you purchased it and have them check it out.
Just a few things I would look into, but with the red lines it's most likely hardware related.IMO. Fabe

Sorry it took so long but I figured out the problem. Since.my tower was new as well, I didn't remove the 2nd small metal plating that covered the back entrance for graphic cards and what not. Since my GC needs 2 exits (one for the cables and 1 for the ventilation, which I forgot to remove), it overheated and fcked up my internal memory. Warranty is being used and it will take 3 more weeks to get it back.
