    NVidia GTX 460 Hdmi issues

Running Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit with Nvidia 260.63 beta drivers installed with HD Audio 1.1.19 drivers.
I have the hdmi cable running from the EVGA GTX 460 to my Yamaha RXV-667 hdmi 1.4a receiver which ouputs to my Mitsubishi WD65-C9 DLP TV.

These latest drivers are supposed to enable bitstreaming Dolby True Hd & DTS TruHD.

In the Windows 7 sound device configuration there is only the option for 2 speakers & in the supported formats there is a "no compressed formats found".
It does list my HD Audio device as the RXV-667.
In the device manager it lists 4 Nvidia hd audio devices each showing the latest driver version.

How do I get the sound device configuration to allow for 5.1 or 7.1 speaker configuration & to list Dolby True HD & DTS HD as supported formats? What am I missing?

    My setup:
    Asus M4A785TD-V EVO Motherboard
Antec EA650 650 Watt Power Supply
    EVGA Geforce GTX 460 768MB GDDR5 PCI-E 2.0 Video Card
    OCZ DDR 3 Dual Channel Memory 2x 2GB PC3 8500
    Samsung BD-ROM/DVD Writer (SATA)
    Samsung 1TB SATA 2 Hard Drive HD103SJ
Maxtor 500GB SATA 2 Hard Drive

    Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit
    Windows XP Pro SP3
    Samsung 950P Monitor
    Yamaha RXV-667 HDMI 1.4a Receiver
    Mitsubishi WD65C9 65" DLP TV

that motherboard should have a S/PDIF connector on it. You will need to connect a cable going from that to a connector on the Video card. Make sure that's connected. Other than that, it may have something to do with motherboard drivers, not audio drivers. But I am not an expert. Sorry.

edit. you may want to try un-installing the audio drivers. Maybe try using the audio drivers provided by the motherboard. Thats the only way I could get my EVGA board to do exactly what you are asking.

Checked the FAQs at EVGA: all 400 series cards don't require a spdif connector. The hd audio is supposed to processed thru the pcie bus.

    Still stumped!

Have you tried connecting graphic card straight to the TV?
