Battlefield Bad Company 2 Graphic Problems

I can play this game fine but sometimes when i play i have grey boxes appear on the screen and flash and vertical lines etc etc, it dosen't affect gameplay or it dosen't freeze but it gets annoying.
It mostly happens during single player, it didn't happen during the first mission Operation Aurora very much but when i got up to the second mission, Cold War it started to happen alot. I'm up to the level Upriver mission, but it dosen't happen as much but still does.

When i play multiplayer sometimes it happens, but not as much as single player.

    I play low-medium settings and i get around 30-50 fps, i think.

It dosen't do it on another game.

I know its not Windows 7, but could it be my laptop?
    Specs:
    Intel Core i5 processor 430M (2.26GHz, 3MB L3 cache)
    NVIDIA GeForce GT320M 1GB
    4GB memory
    640GB Hard Drive

Sometimes when i play for ages i can hear the processer get loud and my laptop starts to get very hot.

Artifacts like that are usually a sign of thermal issues, with the Gpu. I would verify your video card isn't overheating, a great program for monitoring temps: CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

    Welcome to SevenForums.
You can also try using a can of compressed air to clean out the fan on your card.
Then try opening up the side of the case and using a small household fan and blow air into your case to lower temps and see if this makes a difference.
Of course the second point would only apply if cpuid shows your temps to be excessive.
I would also suggest you make sure you have any and all patches installed for the game.

Please post back after trying suggestions, so we can try other other things.
    Thanks. Fabe
