    Vaio w\ GeForce 8400M Gt & Windows 7 64 Bit

Someone please help me, I'm so confused I see all these sights with info and instructions and so much of it is old or been removed. I need someone to please point me in the right direction as far as getting a driver to correctly run my card. I use the HDMI out exclusively on this laptop and need my card to work. Someone out there please help!

My setup is a Sony Vaio VGN-AR730E
    NVIDIA GEFORCE 8400M GT
    INTEL DUO CORE T8100

Welcome to SeveForums. If Sony doesn't have a driver that will work (usualy they make changes to the .inf file)

Download the latest driver for your card Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers >Then go to this site NVIDIA MobilityModder
Follow the driections they're fairly easy to follow>download the modder tool (bottom of page) And it will modify your .inf file >then install
    .
Please post back if you need futher help or have any questions.
This has been successful in the past so alos please let us know if your problem has been resolved so other can benifit from it.
    Thanks. Fabe
