geforce 8800gt sli not detected under w7

i've recently installed windows 7 on my computer. At first, before i started installing drivers, it would detect my sli setup by default. I had the options and all but since i've installed the video card drivers it doesn t detect my second video card. I'm currently using the driver 258.96 from nvidia. I know my second video card works.. now what can i do to have it work? any idea?

Try installing newer drivers, or older ones.

And newer ones? Even older ones?

Also you might try installing your motherboard drivers.

Can you try updating the BIOS?

Look on your manufacturers website (or the motherboards website) and see if they released an updated BIOS. If so, you will need to put that on a flashdrive and boot into the BIOS to manually update it.
