Hiya pal and welcome to the forums

Unfortunately "Windows Aero" is not compatible with your graphics card .... you can read some more about it here (this quotes Vista but Win7 is the same)

Unfortunately, in this case you would have to get a new graphics card as the 865 from Intel does not support Aero. The lowest model from Intel to support Aero is the 945.

You can try installing the XP Drivers simply to get the correct resolutions to show up but apart from that, Aero is not going to work on this. You'd need at minimum either an Intel 945, Radeon 9500, or GeForce FX 5200.

You don't say where you are, but something like this is about the cheapest you're going to find,

    Newegg.com - SPARKLE SFPC84GS256U2LP GeForce 8400 GS 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI HDCP Ready Video Card

    that has Windows 7 support.

Areo requires a card that can run DX9 or above so pending on your budget most of these cards would work.
I would stay away from the FX seires with nvidia and suggest either a 8 or 9 sieres card some of which run DX10.

If you prefer ATi their are 2 seires listed HD 2000 or HD4000 which are capable of running areo.

Isnt there any other way to get aero without buying a new video card like forcing aero to work?

There is only so much software can do when the hardware isn't there to begin with, and in the case of the 865g sorry to say it just isn't going to happen. This will help explain it,

    Short Answer: No.
    Long Answer: Definitely not.
As Stormy said, there's only so much software can do; you can try Window Blinds but at best, that would only emulate Aero and in my experience, the performance penalty isn't worth it.
