Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1

Pretty much any modern card can do this. I would suggest the GeForce GT 220 or if you want to go cheaper, the G210. On the ATI side, I would suggest either a Radeon HD 5570 or 5450. They should all be able to accelerate M2TS video without any issues. On the plus side, Nvidia can also accelerate WMV, in case you make any use of it.

Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit / XP Home sp3

It would also help with suggestions if you would list your PSU in system specs.
Thanks. Fabe

Windows 7 - Ultimate

According to my personal experience, I will never suggest to go with GT 220. Go with GT 250 or if you have some low budget, Go with 9800 GT, 9800 GTX or plus etc.

You should check your power supply & purchase that is suitable with your power supply.

My current card is a mobility radeon hd 6370 in a HP dv6. It's not terrible but also not the best either. It tends to freeze up quite a bit in half-life 2 even on medium settings. The score at gpubenchmark is low at 322 and doesn't even register on the value chart. What would be a good...
