ATI radeon HD 5750 suddenly stopped working

I built a new computer a few months ago which includes an ATI Radeon HD 5750 graphics card. Up until now I've had no issues with it, until today when I booted it up to find that it wouldn't display on my monitor, the monitor displayed the "no signal" message that it usually shows when I have nothing plugged in. I then turned it off, unplugged and replugged the vga cable and it booted up fine, or so I thought.

When it got past the windows 7 loading screen, the monitor displayed the "no signal" message again. It now does this every time I start it up, I was able to boot in safe mode and uninstall the ati radeon driver which caused it to boot up fine, but obviously it was using the standard microsoft vga driver which meant it looked awful. I reinstalled the ATI driver, rebooted and it went back to just displaying "no signal".

I don't understand why this has happened as it worked fine yesterday and to my knowledge I haven't changed anything that would make it do this, the only thing I've done since then is install netbeans, but I don't see how that would cause this.
If anyone could shed any light onto my problem I would greatly appreciate it as I have no idea what to do. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but it turns out I already have the latest version of the drivers, and for some reason I had system restore turned off, so no luck there. Any other ideas? Because I'm completely stuck.

EDIT: Turns out it was the graphics card itself, so as it's still under warranty I have returned it and will be getting a new one.
