    Two monitors

Is it possible to set up two monitors--one always portrait, the other always landscape, with the same file? Can one work on a single file this way simultaneously, so that changes that appear on one screen appear on the other?

Seems to me this is a piece of cake in CAD, but that's not my purpose. I'd use this setup with a music notation program.

How would I set up dual monitors, and I assume it's a function of Windows 7 and one's graphics card?

    Thanks.

A graphics card with 2 outputs either VGA or HDMI or two graphics cards will do it. As for customizing displays you can do that through Personalization/Display/Screen Resolution either landscape or portrait mode.
