    ATI Radeon HD3470

Hey guys, I have another issue on my hands today.

Inside my Asus M51Se laptop is an ATI Radeon HD 3470, 512MB VRAM, and 1024MB shared RAM.

After installing Windows 7 build 7100 it says my card is an ATI Radeon 3450, and that I have 256MB VRAM, and another 1279MB shared RAM

Can anyone tell me what has happened and how to fix this? Would be highly appreciated :)

Install the latest Catalyst driver from ATI.

32 bit = ATI Catalystâ„¢ Mobility Display Driver
64 bit = ATI Catalystâ„¢ Mobility Display Driver

    Thanks for the quick response.

Reinstalled, even thought I just installed the 9,5 ATI Driver package, now it recognizes my card as a HD 3400 series instead, still 256MB VRAM and 1279MB shared... :) So, no real change.

You could try downloading GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility and see what it says. Also look into your manufactures website and see if they have any drivers that may correct this issue. It could also be a BIOS thing as well.
