Q. Monitor Out of Range What is this?
A. It means your system display card settings are too high for your monitor. Boot your system into safe mode and set the display settings lower

Thanks Safe mode did the trick. So what kind of setting do I have to change in order to make it work without safe mode? The refresh rate is set to 60hz, there is no other options in the list.
What do you mean?that should of changed it for normal run ?
Well, I havent changed any settings. I just ran the computer in safe mode, successfully tested the screen and then booted it back up in normal mode. But the screen dosn't work now either after I booted it back up.
Couldnt I just change the resolution in normal mode? I have tried that by the way, no resolution seem to work.
well in safe mode i just realized it uses the on-board graphics not the card it must be the card settings. in normal desktop can you right click on the screen and in the context menu has it got settings for the nvidia card?
