Windows 7 x86 Professional 32bit

Hi Guys thank you for paying attention to my problem, but the problem persists.

I tried to install the XP driver for Stormy13 recommended:

But apparently the driver was not succesfully installed, I got this error message:

Device driver software was not successfully installed
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter V Ready to use
Video Controller X No driver found

Considering the age of the chipset (came out way back in 2003) and the fact that Intel ceased support for it before Windows 7 came (and possibly even before Vista), it may take installing this,

first before the video driver will take.

Windows 7 x86 Professional 32bit

Hi Stormy13

I tried downloading the thing you suggested above:

I didn't succeed in downloading it. I got this information:

The Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility requires a supported chipset platform
running on a supported operationg system. Check the System Requirements section of the
README.TEXT file for more information.

All things considering this is one of those where you would probably be better off staying with XP due to the complete lack of supporting drivers, and going to Windows 7 at such a time as you get a new computer that is more capable of running it.

Windows 7 x86 Professional 32bit

Hi Stormy 13

Yes I think it's right what you write in your last post. To run Windows 7 successfully I need a new laptop.

I don't know how it works in this forum, shall I mark your reply as the answer or something? Anyway I added the answer to your reputation.

Anyway thank you guys for your help! It's appreciated!
