    Catalyst Control Center Question

I'm wondering would I get better performance (with the games I play) if I installed catalyst control center and used Overdrive ? (I have read about it but never used it) I have some games now from Big Fish and I do get stalls and jumps some times, any help / advice on catalyst control center and its use appreciated :)

I still have a MSI version of the 4830, it overclocked fairly well....did it make any difference....not really...

That is it! Running auto is the easiest way, but it takes a while, and ends with a crash...so be prepared.... Have fun!

The CCC will make a difference but the games you posted unfortunatly won't those are pretty much browser games on little mini games the true way to tell if your oc with the overdrive made any difference would to test it on a games that might need a boost if it is lag prone from slow card performance

Other then this there is no need to oc you're card unless you plan on playing demanding games that will actually give you a reason to use overdrive and to increase clock performance

In all Ciara i wouldn't worry to much about it unless you are playing wow or starcraft or something you need some intese speed for

by the way 10.12 driver is a bust stay useing 10.9 if possible im useing 10.10

Hi Solarstarshines :), the games I posted are downloaded and installed, I also have a Halo game, Sawoid and Alien Arena installed, maybe I would not need to OC but maybe the latest drivers may help ?

When you buy the latest/greatest card !ever! you can plan on about 10-20% improvement as the drivers mature...But as time goes by and the latest becomes last years card, you can lose performance...

So would it be worth installing CCC with drivers or not ?
