    Resolution problem after windows reinstall

    Hey

Well i recently had to reinstall windows 7, and now when i log on the resolution seems to be much lower. When i go to Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen Resolution the higest resolution I can pick is 1400x1050, which is not as much as it use to be. I think before i reinstalled windows it was 1800x something.

Anyway, anyone got any idea how to fix this? Its been really annoying me for the last few hours.

Also got one more problem, Windows is not detecting my second monitor as a seperate screen. So basically it is showing the same thing as my first monitor.

Resolution problems following a reinstall usually means that you need to update your video drivers.

And make sure that your monitors are showing up in device manager as what they are if not reinstall the monitor drivers.(.inf files)
