Hey all, I ended up getting this one
Zotac GeForce 6200 512MB TV-Out/DVI PCI - Retail
as Novatech are just up the road.. So got it and just fitted it, had to move my wireless card to another slot as the gfx card would fit in the spare one, but it all seems to be working perfectly. The only thing I've noticed is that one of the 22s is ever so slightly blurry. My set up is the 32 and primary 22 on the old card, and the other (blurry) 22 is on the new card. I am assuming the blurriness is occurring because I haven't installed any proper drivers for the new card yet. My question to you guys is should I install the drivers that came with it or are there any other newer/old drivers I should use from the net?
Many thanks
Use the same driver that you have installed for the 7600. Actually as far as that goes the new card is already using the same driver, as that is what Windows installed for it once the card was detected. Probably wouldn't hurt to do an uninstall and re-install of the current driver as it will then be properly installed for both cards.
Also is the blurry monitor connected via VGA or DVI? Ideally it shouldn't make any difference, but if it is VGA and a re-install of the driver doesn't sort it try it with a DVI cable instead.
Its VGA, yeh I thought that, Ill get a VGA to DVI connector at some point... cheers for all your help!
That wouldn't be any different than using just a VGA cable. Don't forget that VGA is an analogue signal and DVI is digital.Ill get a VGA to DVI connector at some point.
