hey..i already installed the driver..but still cannot change my display to ATI..and i tried to install guitar hero 3 game just to see if it can play..but sadly no..it said that d3dx9 is missing..but in my previous windows vista..there is no problem to play the game..but in this win 7..there is a message said that d3dx9 is missing..why??does this mean my ATI graphic card is not detected??or there's some setting that i need to change??

Yes the installer needs to update the directx 9 files that in the the library.
You may of had something update your Vista install so that all the DirectX 9 files are there.
Windows 7 has DirectX 11 but the DirectX 9 files are not all there for older games so that is why you need to install 9 to fix your error message saying that d3dx9 is not found.
owh..i see..but why my display cannot change to ATI..it still using mobile PC display..??
