    Windows 7 display won't sleep

So I have Windows 7 installed on my box and I am having an issue with my displays and the energy saving features of the OS. I have two displays (Dell 2709W's) and they are connecting via DVI to a eVGA GTX280. The problem that I have is that the energy saving features don't seem to be working right. The displays will sleep but they will not stay a sleep. They sleep for about 10 secs and they wake back up again. This did not happen when the system was running Vista. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

First we need to know everything about your computer, what operating system, is it 32bit or 64bit. what video card driver is installed.

Then we may be able to help you more

I am assuming that the OS is waking up - check to see if your NICs are waking up - perhaps something like your router's Syslog server is sending messages to your computer all the time? Or else something else that is not allowing it to sleep, such as software / drivers for your GTX280....

But zigzag is right - more info is *definitely* needed....
