But it's too expensive!
Not really. Drivers never really help keep things cool. they just make the card work better, Maybe.
If anything they may make the system/card run a little hotter if they work the processor harder.
Video cards, in a closed case, take the air from inside the case to cool them. So it is always starting out with air that is warmer then room temp. That is one reason I leave the left hand side off. To get new unheated air to the CPU and GPU cooling system.
It's possible that a driver could help with heat, but likely only if the previous driver had a problem controlling fan speeds, etc. Having an open case and clean wiring is a great way for better cooling. Adding a case fan, (if necessary) can also aid in cooling. I've found with my computers, that by keeping my wiring very tidy inside, extra case fans have proven unnecessary. My current Core 2 Quad box has a 120mm case fan in bottom between hard drive rack and PSU, then a 120mm out the back and a 200mm out the top. I'm using the stock Intel cooler on my chip and my Corsair modular has a fan it in. I think my case allows for 2 more intake fans...but they aren't necessary at all with my build.
Hi,
I would like too input some points and also Mods.
I have this case....
And I can say, i have never had too worry about over heating, 1 fan on the rear taking air out, I in the front with a filter blowing over the hard drives, I also placed one on the side (slow 1200mm) on the lower grates too push more are over the GFX. My CPU is never over 26c at just running, and I have not seen it hit 40 once even after playing high end games.
Other items you should think about it the CPU cooler, a bad one can retain the heat and make things get worse. I have heat pipes (thermaltake) and 80mm fan that runs at 1507 rpm, and its all fine. Also the PSU sucks air out too with a 140mm fan that I have no control over. Thermaltake Minityp 90
So yea look at other items, you may not need another new case.

New Antec 100 is a nice case also, and was i think 49.00 on Newegg. You have to have a good supply of, air in air outand a side fan keeps case interior cool, around the video card, my P-182 Gun metal Antec has 120 and 80mm fan in front, top 120 and rear 120mm, plus the power supply fan in back, plus the Zalman cpu cooler runs very cool and quiet,( Antec Tri-cools are changed) gets to about 24c inside case temp in the summer maybe 25c according to the room temp right now its 22c with room temp the same. I like big open cases myself plent of room to work even the P-180's are small as far as i am concerned would buy bigger if i ever have to build another system.
It's funny, I have an Antec P182, and if I were to build another system, I would go smaller without question. Too much wasted floor space in this case, and unused room inside that I simply don't need. I like the case for cable management, but feel it's too big. Different strokes for different folks.
Thanks for all the replies guys! I got the coolermaster HAF932......Stalker i know i said it is expensive but i got it at a very good price.
