Multiple monitors detected & utilised when only have 1

    I have discovered kind of a work around. If you remove you password from your account so that when your computer boots it goes right to your desktop, 85% of the time it boots with no problem. I still have the occasional problem with a black screen or when it boots it displays like it is the 2nd desktop and I have to go in and hit detect, then it realizes there is only 1 monitor......
    That's not so great for security reasons. So you can make a new password, then use netplwiz from the start menu search box to achieve what you want. Take away the check box for "Users must enter a user name..."
