my W7ultimate screen is too wide

i upgraded my win7 starter to win7ultimate 32bit and i have been having a problem with my screen resolution. i feel it's a bit wide for my ASUS T101MT netbook and it made it look blurry. i tried adjusting the screen resolution. it's stuck at 800x600. display is generic pnp monitor on standard VGA graphics adapter. i tried installing the graphics driver from asus but it doesnt work. says something like my system is too low. i am not a computer expert so i wish someone in here can help me.tnx

DOS screen not wide enough

Windows 7 won't start up in wide screen
I just bought a new computer with Windows 7 64 bit home edition and an ATI Radeon 5700 series graphics card. My monitor is my semi-old 19" tv - an Element FLX-1910. First, it will not boot up with HDMI even though both the graphics card and the tv have an hdmi port and the tv is hdmi ready. I...

LCD Wide-screen Display
Hi, who here has a LCD Wide-screen Display? what model is it and how much did it cost you? I'm thinking of buying one, looked around in amazon but there are so many choices. I want at least 22", maybe samsong/viewsonic/LG as I heard they have the best price/quality. I don't want Audio or TV Tunner...
