    Pinkish Screen?


    Just moved my HD to a new Laptop of the same make and model. My screen is now a bit pinkish and does not have the deep blacks as the other machine...any place to adjust this?

    All you did was move the hard drive?

    Hit start, type in Color in the search box, click calibrate... take it from there.

    What model of laptop would be good to know if that doesn't get you what you needed.

After the Starting Windows screen a blank black screen with a cursor that I can move pops up that lasts a minute (shouldn't happen with SSD, used to be ~10 second boot). Hello, Recently my laptop screen had to be replaced due to a cracked screen. Original screen was a Samsung and the new screen is LG. After this, whenever I install Intel HD graphics, windows boots up till the login screen and then goes black, one bright flicker, then completely black again....
I've tried updating the drivers, making sure nothing was overclocked, ram memtest and furmark. memtest found no errors, same with chkdsk and it didn't crash in furmark my average temp of gpu is 31 degrees Celsius. It plays sound for a few seconds afterward but then becomes unresponsive to the...
This is driving me crazy. Right after I boot my laptop, the screen flashes randomly. Also something is stealing focus from what I am working on to something else. Then it likes to suddenly go to a grey screen. I have to manually reboot. If that is not enough, it like to just reboot.
